Responsibilities
Extracting insights and building predictive models from data
Analyzing curated data, building ML models, and validating them with experiments
Researching and defining business problems and translating them into analytical or ML tasks
Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies
Designing, training, and evaluating statistical, ML, or AI models
Working with SMEs to determine use cases, model requirements, and alternative solutions
Defining requirements and specifications from which Data Specialists build data structures
Working closely with Data Engineers and customers to ensure correct implementation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Mathematics, OR, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
Minimum 4+ years designing and implementing mathematical and statistical models
Strong experience with Python/R, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Jupyter, visualization, A/B testing
SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or Hive)
Ability to work independently and under deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred
Oracle DB and Hadoop experience preferred
