Responsibilities

Oversee all manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics
Plan, schedule, and execute production activities aligned with demand forecasts and business objectives
Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, TPS, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, and industry requirements)
Drive operational excellence through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and cost-reduction initiatives
Optimize supply chain operations and vendor relationships to improve cost control and material flow
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, sales, and customer service to support production goals and new product initiatives
Apply data-driven decision-making to improve operational visibility, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth and scalability
Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives

Required

10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with TPS and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Proven background in manufacturing operations leadership, including production planning, quality, and process improvement
Demonstrated ability to align operational goals with overall business strategy
Deep understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices
Experience with budgeting, P&L management, cost control, and capital project planning
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), inventory management, and scheduling tools
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety program implementation
Proven ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing teams
Experience leading organizational and process change initiatives
Skilled in tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
Ability to partner effectively with engineering, procurement, sales, and other stakeholders
Strong ability to evaluate risk, cost, and operational impact in a fast-paced environment
