Responsibilities
Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a small project, or designated portions of a project
Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project
Possesses technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments
Ensures the facilities are designed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner in accordance with policies and all applicable laws, regulations, authorization basis, codes, standards and technical requirements
Represents Engineering on the project and with the client to resolve technical questions, expedite procurements, co-ordinate construction interfaces and as required to coordinate work
Ensures work process execution and technical adequacy are in accordance with contract and industry standards
Coordinates engineering effort with Project Manager, Procurement, Construction, Startup, Health and Safety (HSE) and Project Controls
Prepares or directs the preparation of project studies, reports, forecasts, special engineering reports and turnover packages
Qualification
Required
Requires bachelor's degree (Structural or Civil) and 5-10 years of relevant experience or 5-14 years of relevant work experience
Must have either a structural or electrical background (no mechanical)
Excellent oral and written communication skills must be computer-literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
Demonstrated strong organizational skills
Proficient planning and problem-solving skills
Proven customer relationship skills are essential
Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety (HSE)
Located within driving distance to the job site in Scoville, ID
Preferred
Preferential will be in field experience across either EPCM and/or EPC execution models on major, complex projects
