Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations at the location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying any potential concerns
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any issues or incidents that arise during the shift
Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, and take appropriate action as directed by site procedures
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies
Qualification
Required
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
