Responsibilities
Provide virtual care and support to adult members through 10-minute video consultations and asynchronous messaging on topics including:
Urinary tract infections (UTIs), birth control, medication management, and prenatal care
Infertility, sex education, and sexual health
Preventive health and wellness
Common illnesses such as cold, flu, and COVID-19Skin conditions (e.g., acne, leg rashes, pink eye) and travel-related vaccinations
Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone
Qualification
Required
Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Certification in Canada
Must be residing in Canada
Must be in good standing with all applicable medical boards. No history of medical malpractice, disciplinary actions, or loss/restriction of hospital privileges
Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 5 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
Must have 3+ years practicing as an independently licensed provider
Have 3+ years of prior experience in the telehealth space. Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
Must be passionate about women's and family health
Preferred
French fluency strongly preferred
