Major Projects - Cost Analyst
Vistra Corp. is a global leader in the energy sector, and they are seeking a Cost Analyst to coordinate cost controls for their multi-billion-dollar Extended Power Urate project. The role involves maintaining budgets, tracking KPIs, and managing change control processes to ensure financial accuracy and project success.

Responsibilities
Maintain budgets, schedules and risk registries for individual projects within the overall EPU project
Development / utilize tools and processes to coordinate cost tracking and reporting via KPIs utilizing Earned Value Management
Works closely with the project teams to understand variance in costs; actively monitors actual results compared to plan and projection to ensure targets are met or exceeded
Manage change control process, including tracking changes, evaluating impacts on schedule/cost and coordinating approvals
Review and process invoices and payments with vendors and subcontractors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or other related analytical discipline
Strong ability to analyze large data sets, summarize and communicate/present effectively, & proficiency in Excel
Strong communication skills
Preferred
2+ years experience in analytics or finance within the generation business is preferred
Experience with Primavera P6 and Endeavor Engage is an asset
