Responsibilities
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for the location
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support site policies
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the surroundings
Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies
Maintain a visible and professional presence while interacting with the public, employees, and visitors at the location
Qualification
Required
Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit
1+ Years of Previous Security/Law Experience
Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
