Responsibilities
Work with families, caregivers, providers, and insurance payers to resolve documentation or coverage issues
Send insurance-required forms before appointments and confirm completion
Clearly communicate insurance requirements and next steps to families
Maintain HIPAA‑compliant notes and updates across CRM systems
Follow up on missing documents, outstanding insurance information, and claim denials
Perform soft collections outreach for unresolved patient-responsibility items or incomplete insurance records
Verify insurance eligibility, claim status, and reimbursement requirements
Identify delays and escalate issues to ensure timely case resolution
Ensure all files meet insurance and internal compliance guidelines
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and supporting systems
Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and the overall customer experience
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in medical collections or revenue cycle operations
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and learn new systems quickly
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms preferred
