Responsibilities
Translate scientific, technical, commercial, legal, and educational communications from one language to another, ensuring the meaning, context, and intent of the source text are preserved
Review the work of less experienced staff members for quality and accuracy; provide constructive feedback and guidance as necessary
Research legal, technical, and scientific terminology to provide precise translations for complex phrases and specialized verbiage
Lead meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to determine project requirements, set timelines, review deliverables, and address any arising issues. Negotiate the scope and parameters of projects as needed to ensure objectives are met
Proofread and edit final translated documents to ensure quality and consistency; mentor junior team members on best practices in translation and document control
Develop and implement translation tools; evaluate and recommend software solutions to improve translation efficiency and accuracy
Make recommendations for continuous improvement of translation quality and document control processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements throughout translation and documentation procedures
Qualification
Required
Associates or Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 4 years' experience in technical writing, preferably with hardware documentation
Demonstrated experience in reviewing, processing, and releasing documents within a Quality Management System (QMS)
Proficient in reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for accuracy and completeness prior to official submission in the QMS
Preferred
Experience or familiarity with robotics, electromechanical systems, or related industries
Previous experience supporting cross-functional teams or working in a regulated industry
