Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned market segments
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with new and existing customers
Execute strategic account plans for large, multi-site food manufacturing customers
Clearly communicate technical concepts and solution value to both technical and non-technical audiences
Serve as a conduit for customer feedback to internal sales, engineering, and business development teams
Deliver professional product demonstrations and technical presentations
Collaborate closely with technical and project teams throughout the sales and execution lifecycle
Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations
Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging customer needs
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and sales meetings as required
Contribute insights toward product improvement and new solution development
Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and CRM documentation
Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries
Prepare trip reports and activity summaries in accordance with company expectations
Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of direct capital equipment sales experience within industrial or food processing environments
Demonstrated ability to close complex, technical sales
Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered systems
Polished presentation and communication skills
Proficiency with standard PC applications and business software

Preferred

Experience using CRM systems
Background in thermal processing, industrial drying, or related technologies
Prior sales experience within food manufacturing or processing environments
Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing workflows
