Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop internal engineers, contractors, and offshore MSP teams
Drive accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
Define goals, manage workload distribution, and oversee on-call processes
Support professional development and team performance management
Oversee design, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise network and telecom infrastructure
Ensure high availability, performance, and capacity through proactive monitoring and analytics
Provide technical oversight across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, voice, and security services
Serve as the escalation point for major incidents and critical outages
Partner with Architecture and Security to define standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle strategies
Champion resiliency, automation, and failover initiatives across environments
Drive modernization efforts aligned with enterprise strategy
Lead network and telecom projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborate with Project Management, Security, and Application teams
Govern change, incident, and problem management aligned with ITIL principles
Oversee root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation efforts
Manage MSPs, offshore partners, and carriers through structured governance and SLAs
Lead QBRs, performance reviews, and service improvement initiatives
Participate in RFPs and vendor selection processes
Partner with Procurement and Finance on renewals and cost optimization
Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor scorecards
Build business cases and ROI models for technology investments
Monitor and report KPIs (availability, MTTR, SLA compliance, cost optimization)
Ensure audit readiness, security compliance, and regulatory adherence

Qualification
Required
Strong background in both network and telecommunications engineering
Proven experience managing onshore and offshore teams
Hands-on technical expertise
Leadership and people management skills
Ability to oversee design, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise network and telecom infrastructure
Experience ensuring high availability, performance, and capacity through proactive monitoring and analytics
Technical oversight across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, voice, and security services
Experience serving as the escalation point for major incidents and critical outages
Ability to partner with Architecture and Security to define standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle strategies
