Certified Financial Planner
TalentWealth Recruiting partners with independent wealth management firms nationwide, and they are seeking a motivated and client-focused CFP/Service Advisor to join a respected firm in Denver. This role involves managing existing client relationships, addressing client needs, and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive financial plans.
Responsibilities
Lead and direct discovery, decision, and review meetings for current and prospective clients
Heading up and providing care for select existing clients
Conduct periodic client portfolio reviews
Monitor and adjust asset allocations
Uncover and receive new assets from existing clients
Build long-lasting relationships, offer guidance, and provide solutions to help clients meet their financial goals and objectives
Develop a thorough understanding of each client's financial situation to create and maintain customized investment strategies
Manages the financial life cycle of our client families in all phases – accumulation, maintenance, and wealth transfer
Solve complicated financial planning, estate, tax, and retirement issues
Understands financial concepts including Investment Models, Securities, Real Estate, Risk/Risk Tolerance, Estate Planning Tools, Tax (Personal and business), Trusts, and Insurance
Collaborate with Portfolio Manager to ensure the client is invested appropriately
Organize and direct client priorities and tasks amongst teammates
Quick decision-making in response to changing conditions
Client and team collaboration focused on results
Directive leadership to assure business goals are achieved
Delegation of details as necessary, with follow-up on timeliness and quality
Receiving client referrals and transmitting them to the marketing team
Maintaining client care notes
Interfacing with trading, compliance, and client service teams

Research
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher
FINRA series 7, 66 (or combination 65, 63) required
CFP required
Experience with goals-based planning software (ex.. eMoney, MoneGuidePro)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skills
Ability to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issues
Strong problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starter
Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
Passionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industry
Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
