Responsibilities
Develop designs for production of material handling equipment and other metal fabrications
Review project proposals and customer specifications to determine scope of supply
Interpret customer requirements and engineer a cost-effective solution based on industry standards
Research and select appropriate components for use in material handling equipment
Produce bills of material and design fabrication drawings for material handling equipment
Complete required work within the required schedule and budget
Perform product maintenance by selecting new components and updating documentation
Provide detailed technical support to customers, manufacturing, sales and field service
Qualification
Required
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related
Preferred
3D CAD experience, PTC Creo and Autodesk Inventor are preferred
Prior SAP or ERP experience a plus
