Responsibilities
Perform STIG and vulnerability remediation across enterprise systems
Execute assigned tasking to remediate and close out legacy STIG findings and vulnerability scan results
Apply security patches, configuration updates, and security hardening in accordance with approved baselines
Validate remediation actions and support compliance documentation and reporting
Administer and support both Windows and Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, CND, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of related experience performing security and compliance activities in an enterprise DoD environment
Hands-on experience using DISA STIGs and SCAP-based tools (e.g., STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker) for remediation and validation
Experience remediating host-based vulnerability scan findings to closure
Proven administration experience across both Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience applying patches, configuration changes, and hardening actions in accordance with approved baselines and change control procedures
