HRIS Sr Analyst
Decca Recruiting is seeking an HRIS Sr Analyst who will serve as a subject matter expert consulting with HR stakeholders on various Workday modules. The role involves system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving HR operations through automated workflows and efficient processes.
Responsibilities
System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Workday modules including Payroll, Absence, and Time and Attendance. Ensure system settings and configurations are optimized for performance and functionality
System Upgrades and Enhancements: Plan, test, and implement system upgrades and new functionalities Coordinate with IT and Workday support to address any technical issues or enhancements
Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, processes and procedures
Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows and business processes within Workday to streamline HR operations and improve efficiency
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues within the Workday system. Provide second-level support for complex problems that cannot be resolved by first-level support
Create and maintain an executable backlog of product requirements
Execute business process testing alongside leading business partners/COEs through User Acceptance testing of new or delivered functionality
Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery
Assist with issue resolution
Maintain knowledge on new functionality/features/capabilities of Workday, market trends, and other industry products and technologies
Partner with HRIS and HR Shared Services for impacts to system configuration, service center impacts and overall experience
Develop test scripts and execute E2E testing for assigned projects
Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday based upon functional areas or HRIS projects assigned providing continuous input on process improvement and elevated support
Triage questions, issues and requests and responds in a timely manner
Work on ad-hoc projects related to business processes, data, security, loading EIBs or new modules
Qualification
Required
Certified Workday time tracking
Subject matter expert consulting with HR stakeholders on all Workday modules currently in scope at (HCM, Performance, Talent Management, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, & Payroll)
System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Workday modules including Payroll, Absence, and Time and Attendance
System Upgrades and Enhancements: Plan, test, and implement system upgrades and new functionalities
Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, processes and procedures
Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows and business processes within Workday

4+ years of relative Workday Time Tracking configuration experience
Self-motivated, organized and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple projects to successful completion
Strong computer skills: proficient with MS Outlook, Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Associate's degree in related discipline or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Preferred
Experience with Workday reporting and dashboards
Experience working in a global company
