Responsibilities
Develop and oversee compliance programs for legal, regulatory, and contractual adherence
Act as the Compliance Officer and main contact for customer compliance teams
Lead responses to compliance audits and manage remediation actions
Advise various internal teams on monitoring and escalation processes
Create and adapt training on compliance for staff, covering topics like HIPAA and workplace conduct
Collaborate with HR and operations on state employment law compliance
Handle privacy compliance and manage breaches as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or related field; advanced certifications preferred
7+ years in healthcare compliance or regulatory affairs
3+ years of direct healthcare compliance experience
Proficient in healthcare laws, including HIPAA and fraud regulations
Experience conducting audits and risk assessments in health plans
