The role involves requirements discovery, business process analysis, integration coordination, testing support, and project planning activities.

Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Lead pre-discovery sessions with DPS stakeholders to review each business process and form
Analyze and document current-state workflows for all identified processes and forms
Collaborate with the vendor to validate and document future-state processes that align with DPS requirements
Capture and document additional requirements not addressed within the current EDMS project scope for future phases
Integration Design and Management
Coordinate configuration and data requests with the vendor for each process and form
Develop detailed integration specifications for SWIFT and SEMA4, including inbound and outbound transactions
Collaborate on the development of the integration strategy and project schedule
Oversee integration activities in coordination with internal DPS departments
Define and document data elements, success and failure criteria, and exception handling for all integrations
Testing and Validation
Design and document high-level test scenarios for integrations, including success and failure paths
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing for forms, processes, and integrations
Obtain stakeholder validation and sign-off
Project Planning and Support
Assist in the development of project deliverables, including Test Plans, Communication Plans, Training Plans, and Deployment Plans
Present complex information clearly and concisely
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Understand and articulate complex business processes
Provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders and project teams
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
At least two long-term engagements of one year or more in a Business Analyst capacity
Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level solutions and business process improvement initiatives
Proven experience leading requirements gathering for complex IT projects in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and business functions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including gap analysis, root cause analysis, research, alternatives evaluation, and solution implementation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate conflicting interests across business units
Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and practices
Advanced knowledge of Project Management methodologies
Three professional references are required at the time of submission
If the candidate has worked for only one firm during their career, two references are acceptable
Preferred
Business Analyst certification such as IIBA CBAP or equivalent
