Talent Acquisition Specialist

Givens Communities is a senior housing organization committed to improving the lives of older adults. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support and coordinate the talent acquisition life cycle, ensuring effective recruitment strategies and a positive candidate experience.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day recruitment activities
Develop position profiles and postings that are attractive to potential candidates and communicate the Givens Careers brand
Source candidates through job postings, referrals, and direct sourcing (social media, networking, cold calling, messaging passive candidates, partnering with local businesses and schools, etc.)
Establish with each team recruitment objectives and work with develop recruitment strategies to secure the best candidates for each vacancy
Provide a high-touch, positive experience for every candidate and effective hand off to HR/Departments upon hire
Support and cultivate Talent Exchange Network participants to develop robust candidate pipelines for future organizational needs
Monitor key recruitment metrics and goals and track and analyze recruitment performance against metrics
Establish and maintain Community partnerships to aid in recruitment efforts
Speak at local colleges, schools, professional development organizations, etc. about Givens Communities professional opportunities
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

Required

High School or GED equivalent required
Ability to support moderate travel between campuses and job fairs

Preferred

Previous experience in talent management, recruiting, marketing, or Human Resources preferred
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System or similar software preferred
