Responsibilities
Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including some multi-state issues
Consult with clients and provide tax planning
Develop strong working relationships with clients
Tax manager will mentor/train/manage more junior staff
Qualification
Required
CPA Designation
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum of 3 years recent public accounting experience (Tax Accountant) or 5+ years (Tax Manager)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Master's degree in taxation
