Event Sales Manager

Daniel’s Vineyard is a high-end winery known for crafting memorable experiences and premium wines in a luxurious setting. They are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Event Sales Manager to join their Events Department and help grow their private and public events business, focusing on sales and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Proactively generate new leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, wedding planners, and other event professionals
Respond to inquiries, schedule and host property tours, and deliver tailored proposals to prospective clients
Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets for private events, weddings, and corporate functions
Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and track sales activities using CRM or relevant sales tools
Collaborate with marketing to promote event offerings and campaigns, both onsite and offsite
Represent Daniel’s Vineyard at networking events, trade shows, and offsite functions
Serve as a brand ambassador and promote the unique experience of events at the vineyard
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of event details post-sale

Required

5+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or similar customer-facing sales roles (luxury/winery/event venue experience preferred)
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Knowledge and passion for wine and event trends is a plus
Proficient with sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
Must have a valid Indiana driver's license and be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
