Industrial Sales Engineer

They are seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to work directly with customers to understand their application requirements and provide tailored mechanical solutions throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities
Work directly with customers to understand application requirements
Recommend and configure customer-specific mechanical solutions
Provide technical support throughout the sales process, including application analysis, feasibility assessments, and solution proposals
Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and refine custom tooling and process solutions
Conduct on-site customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations as needed
Support trials, process optimization, and initial production implementation
Prepare technical documentation, quotations, and project timelines
Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through order placement and transition to production
Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and new applications
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of CNC metal working equipment
Practical, hands-on experience in metalworking and machining environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong mechanical problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on customer equipment
