Facilities Coordinator & IT Support
EVS North America is a dynamic and growing organization with a presence across the United States. They are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join their team as a Facilities Coordinator & IT Support Specialist, responsible for managing facility operations and providing essential IT support to employees across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate facilities operations across Fairfield, NJ, Denver, CO, and Santa Clarita, CA. Allendale NJ. This includes regular virtual check-ins and on-site visits as required. Facilitate IT equipment shipments between remote sites and headquarters to ensure timely availability
Oversee the maintenance and repair of office buildings, equipment, and grounds. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and security systems
Manage contracts with service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service. Sourcing and negotiating will be made following EVS global processes
Ensure all facilities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and maintain emergency preparedness plans
Assist in space planning and office reconfigurations to optimize workflow and employee comfort. Manage office furniture, equipment, and supplies in line with EVS standards and in collaboration with EVS global facilities
Participate in the creation of the yearly and long-term budget in collaboration with EVS global facilities, manage the day-to-day expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Assist with lease agreements and property-related documentation
Manage access control systems, alarm systems, and video surveillance to ensure physical security of all locations in line with EVS standards
Provide first-line IT support to all employees across several locations for hardware, software, network, and system issues. This includes remote troubleshooting and coordination with local staff where necessary
Work closely with the Central IT Team to manage the lifecycle of IT hardware. This includes setting up, fixing, and removing desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other similar equipment. Manage local stock levels and reorder any of these items by telling the Central IT Team
Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems, office applications, and specialized business software
Monitor network health and troubleshoot connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi- Fi). Collaborate with external IT service providers or internal IT teams for complex network problems
Create, modify, and delete user accounts and permissions in various systems (e.g., Active Directory, cloud platforms)
Be the local contact for IT security issues and work with the Central IT Teams on security activities. Promote and enforce the best IT security practices. Help with data backup procedures and make sure data is protected
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, configuration documentation, and knowledge base articles for common issues
Present and explain IT tools and procedures to new employees. Prepare IT equipment and access for new employees and manage equipment retrieval and removal for employees who are leaving
Qualification
Required
5+ years of combined experience in IT support roles and/or facilities management, preferably in a multi-location environment
Proven experience with building maintenance, vendor management, and health & safety regulations
Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications
Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and Wi-Fi configurations
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively across different locations and time zones
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations across North America
Preferred
Experience with ticketing systems (Atlassian Jira, etc..) and remote support tools
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or equivalent
Experience with cloud-based productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365)
Knowledge of California, Colorado, and New Jersey state and local regulations related to facilities management
