Labor Relations Analyst
TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Labor Relations Analyst for a leading automotive manufacturer. The role involves managing attendance for bargaining unit employees, ensuring compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, and promoting positive relationships with the union.

Responsibilities
Assist operational leadership with maintaining and improving operational efficiencies in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement
Promote a positive working relationship with the union and Industrial Worker workforce
Manage daily attendance for bargaining unit employees, including administration of the Attendance Policy
Critically evaluate complex data and processes and ensure accuracy
Maintain current attendance records for each bargaining unit employee
Verify quality and accuracy of attendance records utilizing multiple data sources
Maintain an accurate master attendance file
Generate and provide attendance disciplines to Supervisors for their bargaining unit team members
Maintain attendance discipline log
Provide regular attendance reporting as required
Work closely with union representatives to maintain a strong relationship
Provide attendance process training as necessary
Participate in grievance meetings as required
Collaborate with other Labor Relations and People & Culture professionals as necessary
Work on continuous improvement
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
1 year of experience working with data, reporting, and/or information systems
As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service focus
Analytical Reasoning & Critical Thinking — The ability to examine complex information, detect patterns or anomalies, and make informed, data-driven decisions
Attention to Detail & Precision — Maintaining rigorous accuracy in all aspects of work—from data integrity to documentation—ensuring reliability and trustworthiness

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Internally motivated and proactive
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
Preferred
Human Resources experience preferred
Experience working in an industrial environment preferred
Experience working in a unionized environment with labor contract interpretation responsibilities preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, striving towards operational excellence
