The role involves managing parts purchasing and inventory control, maintaining purchase order requisitions, and assisting in operational projects.

Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of parts purchasing and inventory control including tire purchasing through the company’s internal tire purchase management system
Maintains inventory minimum and maximum parts levels and conducts the biannual physical parts inventory count
Administers and maintains purchase order requisitions through WM purchasing software systems and maintain SOX compliance
Reconciles all fleet purchases
Prepares for all month-end processes and procedures in a timely manner meeting required month-end reporting deadlines
Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues
Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis
Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager
Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor
Assists with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs
Assists with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary
Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed
Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
Three years relevant work experience in a comparable role
Knowledge and practical ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office software
Preferred
Be ok working outside or in a shop exposed to weather elements, loud noises, and strong odors
Have experience with purchase orders and maintaining inventory
Have Knowledge of auto / mechanical parts
Strong organizational and computer skills
Be self-motivated
Have a valid Driver's License
