Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot CNC and production machinery
Perform routine machine maintenance and preventative maintenance
Schedule and document machine cleaning and maintenance activities
Coordinate with outside repair vendors when needed
Maintain inventory of repair parts and ensure proper machine oil levels
Read and interpret engineering drawings for repairs
Utilize metrology equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and optical comparators
Suggest process improvements and equipment upgrades
Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with CNC turning centers (Fanuc Controllers preferred)
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and maintenance procedures
Ability to read engineering drawings and use metrology tools accurately
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
