Responsibilities
Support in the day-to-day operational needs of the stores, including general troubleshooting, organising domestic services and project managing the launch of new services, tech updates and incentives
Conduct staff training on, and ensure compliance with, all retail operational policies, procedures and financial compliance
Maintain the Retail Operations Manual, working with key stakeholders to ensure it is up to date and communicated to the retail teams
Working closely with the US Head of Special Projects and UK Retail Operations Manager to manage the US implementation of existing retail operations policies, along with developing region-specific procedures to support the growth of the ME+EM brand
Provide frontline support and co-ordinate and organise all the relevant retail operations requirements for new store set-ups, including pop-ups, across the US
Coordinate stock control operations and manage communication between all US stock controllers and supervisors
Undertake regular audits of store locations to identify any training, maintenance and compliance issues
Work alongside ERP and UK Retail Operations to train store teams on till processes and best practice stock control best practices
Collate system development wish lists from stores and feedback to internal stakeholders
In partnership with Logistics Lead, oversee inventory management and product delivery logistics ensuring accurate counts and optimal level coordination
Provide retail updates and ensure clear dissemination of information across stores and manage tracking and communication of retail incentive programs
Generate, monitor and present retail performance reports to Senior Managers and store teams
Set-up, maintain and monitor compliance across all retail operations documents including trade reporting tools, uniform allowance and other live trackers
Coordinate with department heads to achieve organizational goals and ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
Sit on the US Health and Safety Committee representing retail and managing actions and adherence of policies in store as well as training on basic Health and Safety Standards
Work alongside external Health and Safety contractors to ensure state specific regulations are followed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in a multi-site environment
Strong understanding of retail processes, compliance, and financial procedures
Flexibility to travel between store locations as per the needs of the business
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong analytical skills for reporting and problem-solving
