Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate various types of contracts, including renewals and amendments
Advise business units on contractual interpretation, rights, and dispute resolution
Establish template contract documents to ensure compliance and consistency
Work closely with sales and business teams to resolve issues in commercial relationships
Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies

Required

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of any U.S. state bar
5-10 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
5+ years of experience with software and/or technology contracts
Extensive experience with data licensing, SaaS, and professional services contracting is ideal
Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated and team-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with data privacy matters, such as data processing agreements, is strongly preferred
