CliquePrize is a local giveaway marketing company focused on helping small businesses grow through interactive promotions. They are seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern to assist with content creation, community social listening, and public relations efforts aimed at capturing local leads for small businesses.

Responsibilities
Create content for your Metro Market covering industries in our core categories: Beauty, Health, Retail, Fitness, Home Improvement, Events, Learning, Technicians, Food, Pet Services, Childcare & Family Services, Wellness & Alternative Health, and more
Write compelling media pitches about how small businesses are using giveaways instead of paid ads; the goal is capture a local leads marketing list
Pitch blogs, small business podcasts, local newspapers, and small business trade publications about our College Ambassador Program
Track results, report outreach weekly
Develop short-form success stories based on use case examples (we’ll help provide the math)
Assist with press release formatting and occasional LinkedIn/email copy
Develop a PR strategy for blogs, podcasts and press distribution
Use TweetDeck and other Social listening tools to follow communities online such as Facebook groups, WhatsApp, Quora, NextDoor, Redditt, etc to respond to Small Business Owners who seek solutions to cash flow and growth issues
Find new groups and respond to posts
Help promote our College Ambassador program
Qualification
Required
Commit to 1 weekly meeting with the Social Media team and 2 hours per day during weekdays
Students based in the Chicago, IL or Nashville, TN areas will get priority
Create content for Metro Market covering various industries
Write compelling media pitches about small businesses using giveaways
Track results and report outreach weekly
Develop short-form success stories based on use case examples
Assist with press release formatting and occasional LinkedIn/email copy
Develop a PR strategy for blogs, podcasts and press distribution
Use TweetDeck and other social listening tools to follow communities online
Find new groups and respond to posts
Promote the College Ambassador program
Clear writing and creative headlines
Organized with outreach and follow-ups
Knows how to research a reporter or blog audience
Comfortable in Google Sheets and Docs
