Responsibilities

Administer and support a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud + on-prem)

Monitor systems and respond to incidents and helpdesk tickets

Act as a senior technical contributor within a multi-disciplinary team

Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Mentor and support the development of junior engineers

Improve automation, monitoring, backup, and infrastructure-as-code practices

Maintain clear technical documentation and operational processes

Required

Strong Linux systems administration experience

Deep knowledge of infrastructure and data center technologies, with exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Experience with firewalls, networking, routing, VPNs, and connectivity

Familiarity with virtualization and storage technologies

Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (e.g. Nagios, PRTG, Sensu, PagerDuty)

Strong scripting skills

Exposure to databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle is a plus

7+ years in DevOps / SRE / Systems Engineering roles

Comfortable in senior, customer-facing production environments

Proactive, adaptable, and happy working in a fast-moving business

Strong communicator who enjoys coaching others
