Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the General Contractor’s Field Superintendent
Maintain complete knowledge of project drawings, specifications, construction schedules, electrical equipment submittals, and mechanical equipment submittals
Lead, manage, and train all jobsite electrical field personnel
Establish and maintain a safe work environment for all employees on site
Oversee the complete field execution and performance of all electrical contract work
Track, manage, and coordinate jobsite materials, tools, and equipment
Schedule and conduct jobsite inspections, testing, and owner training as required
Ensure work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
Promote and uphold the company’s reputation through professionalism and quality workmanship
Qualification
Required
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to navigate Outlook and Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive, professional attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Electrical Foreman
Experience on projects such as schools, office buildings, retail stores, medical facilities, or similar commercial projects
Ability to bend, kneel, and work overhead for extended periods
Ability to withstand prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Strong hand-eye coordination and physical endurance
Good mobility for tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, and material handling
Preferred
Licensed Journeyman Electrician
