This role focuses on driving EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Responsibilities
Lead and implement Severe Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention initiatives
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate EHS regulations
Deliver and track mandatory EHS training and certification programs
Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Manage emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and contingency planning
Oversee hazardous waste, air, water, and pollution prevention programs
Maintain regulatory reporting (e.g. SARA Title III, Tier II, Form R, Title V )
Support audits and ensure timely closure of findings
Drive hazard communication, energy control (LOTO), noise exposure, and chemical safety programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
3–5 years experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulations
Ability to support multiple shifts and extended hours
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EHS systems
Preferred
Professional EHS certifications (e.g. CSP, ASP, CHMM)
Experience driving culture-change and safety performance improvement
