Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of retail mortgage originators
Own production performance metrics, including locks, funds, pull-through, and cycle time
Set expectations for daily activity, pipeline health, and conversion discipline
Drive go-to-market strategies with realtor partners, builders, and referral programs
Act as a second-level escalation point for member, pricing, and execution issues
Ensure alignment between Sales and Operations for predictable throughput
Maintain adherence to SoFi policies, the SAFE Act, and regulatory requirements
Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
Support recruiting, onboarding, and change management for new products and tools
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Ops, Compliance, and Analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate degree, or equivalent industry experience
3+ years of sales management experience, specifically in mortgage or consumer lending
Current NMLS license
Proven track record of leading teams to meet or exceed rigorous sales targets
Experience in centralized sales or processing center management
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance and the mortgage industry
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to process changes
Passion for the member experience and developing efficient workflows
