Associate Director of Sales and Strategy, B2B - Animal Health
Edcetera is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director of Sales and Strategy for their Animal Health brands. The role involves originating new relationships, building existing partnerships, and executing strategic plans to achieve sales goals in a growing B2B market.

Responsibilities
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
Identifies sales opportunities by staying informed on publications, regulatory changes, and industry announcements
Responsible for driving and growing B2B campus revenue retention rates, as well as B2B upsell, cross-sell and new logo of Campus and Sponsorship partnership
Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and online research
Guides Strategic Account Manager in renewal retention and works collaboratively on the sales opportunities at time of renewal
Discovers and explores business opportunities and communicates with the sales leaders
Strong understanding of company products or services as well as market position to keep business competitive
Communicates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development and sales efforts with overall company objectives
Utilizes various sales approaches to educate and align product offerings with client’s needs
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote the company's products or services
Explores opportunities to add value to job responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
5+ years of proven experience in business development or another sales-related role
Animal Healthcare industry experience is required
Ability to build and leverage relationships
Innate drive to succeed and take initiative
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to express concepts clearly and concisely
Supervisory experience required
Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce
Consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales projections
Professionalism and integrity
Ability to analyze and facilitate the sales process from initial contact to contract closure and deliverables
Has B2B sales experience
Excellent time management and organization experience, including thorough documentation of the sales process for clients
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred
eLearning industry is a plus, but not a requirement
