Responsibilities
Serve as the regional lead for water resources and stormwater services in Southwest Florida
Oversee and manage stormwater, drainage, floodplain, and resiliency projects from planning through delivery
Be confident in a business development heavy role
Act as a technical authority and signing engineer for water resources projects
Lead project teams, providing mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to engineers at varying experience levels
Coordinate closely with municipal clients, water management districts, and state agencies
Support workload planning, staffing, and strategic growth of the local water resources group
Collaborate with leadership on market strategy, client development, and pursuit planning
Participate in client meetings, public workshops, and stakeholder coordination as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (Florida preferred or ability to obtain)
8+ years of experience in water resources, stormwater, and floodplain-focused engineering
Strong background in H&H modeling, drainage design, and floodplain analysis
Experience working with Florida municipalities and regulatory agencies (FWMDs, FDEP, FEMA)
Proficiency with tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, ArcGIS, and related modeling software
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and mentor staff
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients and stakeholders
