The Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will provide technical support and project leadership to execute the full life-cycle commissioning of critical facilities, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful operation of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
Perform on-site inspections, validation, functional testing, verification, and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls equipment
Participate in factory witness testing and startup activities
Develop project proposals, including scope, schedule, and budget, with supervisory input
Prepare functional performance test scripts for complex projects
Review construction-related design documents, drawings, submittals, and sequences of operations
Lead and participate in commissioning-focused design reviews
Prepare and oversee project progress reports and final commissioning documentation
Perform related duties as assigned to support project and organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
Advanced knowledge of mechanical and controls system principles
Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and file management
Compliance with company and site safety requirements
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
Client-facing skills with ability to serve as primary point of contact
Planning and delegation skills for managing others' work
Certification or ability to achieve NFPA70E and/or OSHA training if required
