Responsibilities
Conducting bi-weekly automated precision checks on continuous analyzers, including those measuring SO2, NO2, O3, and CO
Perform preventive maintenance every two weeks at remote air monitoring stations to avert significant malfunctions of the instruments
Troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and recalibrating the equipment as necessary
Maintaining accurate documentation of calibration by completing a Calibration Task on the Air Quality Portal
Carrying out corrective actions by analyzing various symptoms and parameters such as voltages, flows, pressures, temperatures, and sounds
Qualification
Required
Two years of technical experience testing and repairing electronic or electrical equipment; or
An associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, information sciences and technology, or a closely related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C Driver's License
You must meet the PA residency requirement
