CORD Scholarship and Financial Aid Counselor

They are seeking a CORD Scholarship and Financial Aid Counselor to provide financial aid support to undergraduate students, complete administrative tasks related to financial aid, and advise students on scholarship eligibility and disbursement.

Responsibilities
Provide scholarship and financial aid support to undergraduate students
Complete administrative tasks related to federal, state, and college offered financial aid
Post aid and resolve issues inhibiting student eligibility or the release of aid
Advise and educate students about scholarship eligibility, disbursement, and renewal
Coordinate data for various financial aid programs
Hold regular office hours in the CORD 4 days a week and Financial Aid Office 1 day per week
During peak times, adjust office hours location to best support students
Maintain regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
Create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others
Qualification
Required
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least two years of experience in program administration or a related area
At least one year of experience in student financial aid or a related area
Preferred
At least two years of administration experience in higher education
Experience with enrollment or student record management program (Blackbaud, Slate, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Demonstrated commitment to positive customer service
