Responsibilities

Lead licensing activities for Extended Power Uprate projects, ensuring compliance with NRC regulations, site licensing bases, and industry standards
Develop and manage licensing strategies, submittals, and responses to NRC Requests for Additional Information (RAIs)
Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Site Operations to align technical deliverables with licensing requirements
Serve as the primary interface with NRC, INPO, DOE, and industry peer groups on licensing matters
Direct preparation, review, and approval of License Amendment Requests (LARs), safety evaluations, and supporting analyses
Anticipate regulatory challenges and proactively mitigate licensing risks to support project cost and schedule
Provide contract ownership and leadership for Owner’s Engineer and external contractors delivering licensing products
Ensure licensing commitments are tracked, communicated, and fully integrated into project execution and long-term plant operations

Required

Bachelor's degree Engineering
10+ years in engineering or projects, with 5+ years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of NRC, INPO, and industry codes/standards (ASME, IEEE, ANSI, NERC)
Proven EPC / Owner's Engineer oversight and regulatory interface experience

Preferred

Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on large projects
