Responsibilities
Soldering: Performing various types of soldering, such as surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering. This may include soldering components and wires onto circuit boards and other electronic components
Inspecting: Inspecting finished products for accuracy, quality, and soldering defects
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and repairing soldering issues
Maintaining: Maintaining soldering equipment, such as soldering irons, hot air guns, solder pots, and soldering stations. They may also maintain stock levels to ensure all needed equipment and materials are available
Following instructions: Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand the soldering requirements for each project
Following protocols: Following safety protocols and regulations
Documenting: Documenting production totals and any error
Qualification
Required
Must have work experience as a Solder for at least 1 year minimum
Soldering: Performing various types of soldering, such as surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering. This may include soldering components and wires onto circuit boards and other electronic components
Inspecting: Inspecting finished products for accuracy, quality, and soldering defects
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and repairing soldering issues
