Responsibilities
Financial Close, Standard Cost Accounting, Financial Statements, narrative, and management reporting
Standard Costing – Has to has some and working knowledge. Inventory accounting and reserve accounting
Responsible for AP and AR management
Financial Analysis and Reporting as a business partner to the performance of the business
Contributes to Budget and Forecast
CapEx Accounting, preparation of Provision calculation
Work within a SOX environment, adhering to internal controls policies and procedures
Processes are okay, nothing is broken. That said, things are not as efficient as they could be. Would like someone who can make suggestions and improvement
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting
8+ years of relevant experience, including leadership at either an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller level
Standard Cost Accounting is required
Previous Leadership experience – good mentor, good teacher
Manufacturing industry experience is a must
Strong person who is very hands-on
