Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all Dynatrace services
Administer and maintain Dynatrace environments, tenants, agents, and integrations
Design and implement monitoring strategies for applications, infrastructure, databases, cloud, and network components
Configure dashboards, service flows, alerts, KPIs, and custom metrics for operational and executive visibility
Manage OneAgent deployments across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
Tune alerts and thresholds to reduce noise and improve actionability
Support root cause analysis and performance troubleshooting for high-impact incidents
Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to embed observability into system design
Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM, logging, and security tools
Enforce governance standards for monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Provide guidance on licensing, capacity planning, and optimization
Stay current on Dynatrace enhancements and observability trends
Qualification
Required
Advanced, hands-on Dynatrace administration experience in an enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of APM, infrastructure monitoring, and observability concepts
Experience monitoring distributed systems, microservices, and complex architectures
Expertise with Dynatrace OneAgent lifecycle management
Solid understanding of alerting strategies, anomaly detection, and RCA
Experience integrating Dynatrace with Azure, containers, and on-prem infrastructure
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar) and logging platforms
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to consult and influence across multiple IT teams
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years in application monitoring, platform operations, or systems engineering
4+ years administering Dynatrace in a production enterprise environment
Preferred
Experience supporting hybrid and cloud environments strongly preferred
ITIL-aligned service management experience a plus
