Responsibilities
Provide front-line support for live trading systems, including low-latency market data, order management, and execution platforms
Troubleshoot production incidents, outages, and performance issues in real time
Debug Linux-level issues (CPU, memory, disk, network, processes) and identify root causes
Build, maintain, and enhance Python tools and automation for monitoring, reporting, and operational workflows
Improve production reliability through automation, process optimization, and proactive system enhancements
Support software releases and deployment in production trading environments
Conduct post-incident analysis and contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain clear documentation of systems, workflows, and support procedures
Collaborate closely with trading teams, developers, and infrastructure engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Developer-level Python expertise, including building robust automation tools and debugging complex systems
Strong hands-on experience in Linux production environments
Proven track record supporting front-office trading systems, market data platforms, or OMS
Solid understanding of trading system architecture and production requirements
Excellent communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
Ability to manage competing priorities in a live trading environment
Preferred
Exposure to ultra-low-latency trading environments (hardware-accelerated NICs, multicast, FPGAs, microwave networks)
DevOps/automation experience (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Docker)
Prior experience mentoring junior engineers or supporting multiple desks
