This role involves leading advanced electrical design efforts for Hyperscale data center projects and managing project engineers and design team deliverables.

Responsibilities
Lead advanced electrical design efforts from concept through construction
Direct project engineers and coordinate design team deliverables
Develop specifications, equipment layouts, and electrical distribution systems
Oversee QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with NEC, life safety, and energy codes
Support project construction phases including site surveys, submittal/RFI reviews, and closeout
Serve as primary client contact, manage stakeholder relationships, and mentor junior staff
Contribute to organizational standards, training programs, and innovation efforts
Support business development and proposal development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
13+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Expertise in mission critical power systems, including UPS, switchgear, and power distribution
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and electrical analysis tools
Advanced knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and arc flash/short circuit studies
Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage complex project scopes
Comfortable with remote collaboration and able to travel up to 10% as needed
