Responsibilities
Lead new product development strategy informed by consumer, market, and competitive insights
Manage product development timelines, ensuring on-time launches, quality standards, and legal requirements
Own pricing strategy and COGS management to meet margin targets
Work hands-on with vendors and suppliers, managing daily communication and technical product details
Partner cross-functionally with Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Creative, and external engineers
Collaborate closely with Marketing on brand vision, storytelling, packaging, content, and launch execution
Partner with Sales to translate marketing plans into retailer strategies, including assortment, placement, line reviews, and exclusives
Create and deliver brand and product presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Analyze product performance (POS, shipments) and lead annual product complexity reduction
Manage key deliverables including forecasts, samples, packaging requests, and launch materials
Execute product and brand training
Anticipate risks and develop alternative plans to keep projects on schedule
Qualification
Required
relevant product management experience required
4-5+ years of product management experience, ideally in the Pet industry
Experience helping build or grow a newer brand or product line
Strong understanding of the grooming tools or consumer tools category
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong project management abilities across multiple product lifecycles
Data-driven and comfortable analyzing performance metrics
Socially engaged with interest in influencers and content
High attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
