Responsibilities
Fabricate and repair machine parts using manual Bridgeport mills, lathes, and other shop equipment
Troubleshoot and rebuild mechanical components on roll formers, presses, and production machinery
Work without blueprints when needed—reverse engineer parts based on what’s broken
Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep production moving without delays
Jump in when machines go down—you're the one who figures it out and gets it running again
Maintain and organize the toolroom and machining area
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a manual machinist or millwright in a production or fabrication setting
Proficiency with mills, lathes, and manual machine tools (no CNC required)
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, especially on older or custom-built equipment
Ability to fabricate parts with or without drawings
Comfortable working independently and making decisions on the spot
Willing to put in some overtime when a machine needs attention
Preferred
