Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain database applications to support complex system requirements
Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries and scripts
Develop and maintain database solutions following Agile methodologies
Implement deployment procedures and release management for database changes
Ensure database performance, security, and reliability through proactive monitoring
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and query performance
Provide technical support for end users
Proven track record managing SQL Server database applications in production settings

Required

U.S. Citizenship Required
Must be able to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and the T-SQL programming language required
Responsibilities include Database Design and Development, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, and Technical Support
Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) required
Good understanding of database security required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) desired
Experience with C#/.NET and Visual Studio desired
