Responsibilities

Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting operational control and visibility of the Bulk Electric System
Ensuring NERC CIP compliance and supporting broader security and operational objectives
Configuring, updating, and maintaining network devices including switches, firewalls, IDS, and other OT/IT systems
Supporting development and integration projects, ensuring security is embedded into IT and OT systems
Troubleshooting and resolving network security issues proactively and efficiently
Analyzing network logs and events to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents
Coordinating with cross-functional teams to support critical operations and infrastructure
Designing and validating cybersecurity architectures spanning IT and OT environments
Planning and executing OT cybersecurity assessments, including tabletop exercises and post-incident reviews
Supporting incident response, including root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions

Required

Extensive experience in IT and OT systems administration, industrial cybersecurity, and compliance, including NERC CIP and industrial frameworks (NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443)
Hands-on experience with OT/IT infrastructure and security tools, including: Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Proxmox), and backup solutions (Commvault/Veeam)
Network segmentation, firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), and industrial DMZ design
Endpoint protection / EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
Asset inventory and monitoring tools (Industrial Defender, Nozomi, Claroty, Dragos)
Identity and access management (Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD)
Vulnerability scanning and service management (ServiceNow)
Physical security systems (CCURE, cameras, sensors)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve network security incidents in operational environments
Strong documentation and communication skills; able to translate technical risks into business terms
Ability to operate effectively in legacy or resource-constrained environments
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration across IT, OT, and business teams

Preferred

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIP, or GICSP are highly desirable
