Responsibilities
Perform activities to ensure timely delivery and distribution of parts to meet production schedules
Communicate directly with suppliers while maintaining linkage to Purchasing Buyers and Management
Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data from multiple sources
Use functional area software to compile, review, and analyze data for reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, and presentations
Design processes to enhance workflow and cross-train across sections
Provide data and information on functional unit processes and procedures
Maintain the highest ethical personal and professional standards
Track ITAR parts
Perform other projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of relatable experience
Knowledge of computer use with experience in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Strong verbal communication skills to speak effectively before groups
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to create, enter, retrieve, and print from software programs such as Excel and Word
Skilled in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP systems
Two (2) years of experience in a similar role involving purchase orders and buying
Experience working with customers and/or suppliers
