Responsibilities
Route Management: Plan, assign, and monitor daily routes for various waste collection vehicles (commercial, front-end load, and roll-off)
Real-Time Communication: Maintain constant contact with drivers, providing updates and resolving immediate problems (e.g., traffic, truck issues)
Customer Service Liaison: Handle incoming calls, address missed pickups and communicate service changes to sales and customers
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and prevent service issues, ensuring adherence to company standards and agreements
Technology Use: Utilize dispatch software, GPS tracking, and other systems to optimize routes and monitor performance
Documentation: Close service tickets and maintain accurate records and reporting
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and vendors via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with transportation management systems, GPS tracking, and fleet management software such as Tower and 3rd Eye
Strong analysis skills for route optimization and logistics planning
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to convey information clearly across multiple channels
Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and handling multi-line phone systems efficiently
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
