Learning Operations Analytics Intern
Southwire Company is one of North America’s largest wire and cable producers, dedicated to providing valuable experiences to students through their College Programs. The Learning Operations Analytics Intern will support the Learning Ops team by assisting with key projects related to the migration of course content and user data to a new Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities
Assist with transferring course content, learning assets, and user data from the legacy LMS to the new platform
Conduct quality checks to ensure migrated content is accurate, complete, and properly formatted
Help configure courses, learning paths, user roles, and system settings in the new LMS
Support testing of LMS features, workflows, and integrations to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
Gather, organize, and validate data needed for migration activities, including user lists, completion records, and course metadata
Assist in generating reports to track migration progress and identify gaps or inconsistencies
Maintain documentation of migration steps, data dictionaries, and mapping decisions
Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and support materials for LMS processes
Document findings from testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities
Collaborate with Learning Operations team members, instructional designers, and IT partners to support migration tasks
Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on assigned action items
Identify opportunities to streamline tasks, improve workflows, and enhance the learner experience within the new LMS
Bring forward recommendations based on user feedback, testing insights, or platform capabilities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Software Engineering, Business Analytics/Business Information Systems
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Planner, Litmos, SmartSheets tools
